Second edition, adverts dated 1890, 8vo.,pp.199,29, burgundy cloth, with paper title label to spine; ownership autograph with small inscription to front free endpaper, foxing to endpapers, lightly toned and foxed to margins with chipping to edges of text block, cracking to inner hinge with webbing visible, boards working loose to front and rear endpapers, boards rubbed to extremities with light wear to corners and to head and foot of spine, light toning and a couple of stains to spine, title label heavily rubbed and worn with a small piece missing to edge, lettering still visible, a good copy. No dust-jacket.
