Illustrated end papers, 86pp blanks between some pages. Colour frontis + 25 other such plates. Undated but printer's code to copyright page 430.147 indicates 1947 and no titles published post that year to list of titles on rear panel of dust jacket. Loosely laid into the copy offered is a promotional leaflet from Warne for the Beatrix Potter Book Shelves and other related merchandise. Synopsis
2012 marks 110 years since Warne published The Tale of Peter Rabbit . In celebration, we are publishing limited editions of twelve classic tales with colorful covers, special endpapers, and notes explaining the history behind each book. The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes is about poor Timmy Tiptoes who gets temporarily stuck inside a tree.
