Business history of New Departure, world's largest maker of ball bearings during the World War II years, and of its technologically significant new ball bearing mechanism affectionately called the Tremendous Trifle. Navy cloth with horizontal pinstripes in turquoise, silver gilt cover lettering, color illustrated endpapers, 215 pages, with dustjacket. The book has light edge rubbing, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is fair with some fading and shelf soil, minor chips, little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
