Single volume containing A Tale of Two Cities, A Christmas Carol, The Chimes, The Cricket on the Hearth, The Battle of Life and The Haunted Man. A Tale of Two Cities is a historical novel published in 1859, set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution. 'A Christmas Carol in Prose Being a Ghost Story of Christmas', is a novella first published in 1843 and illustrated by John Leech. This undated edition circa 1930-35, was printed from one corrected by the author in 1867-68. 736pp illustrated with black and white drawings. Gilt lettering to spine, top edges tinted. Slight bumping and fraying to spine and corners, otherwise good copy with no inscriptions..
