Poet and novelist Sanders, author of "The Family," the true crime classic about Charles Manson and his followers, writes from a very personal perspective in this series of short stories about members of the Beat Generation inhabiting New York City's Greenwich Village during the 1950s and early '60s; top edge of text very lightly foxed, o/w boards and text are clean, tight, square; back panel of dustjacket shows some rubbing and minor surface wear, and jacket's reverse side shows some staining, though it did not leak through or damage the book itself. Scarce and collectable.
