About This Item

1925. With a Preface by R.B. Cunninghame Graham. Toronto: S.B. Gundy | Garden City NY: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1925. Original navy blue cloth decorated in gilt, with dust jacket.

First American Edition, Canadian issue. This volume appears to be the same as the US domestic issue, except that Gundy's name is added to the title page, and to the foot of the spine of both the volume and the dust jacket. It is curious that for this title, there is a Canadian issue of both the first UK edition and the first US edition. This is a fine copy in a near-fine jacket; as with all domestic American copies we have seen, the jacket is price-clipped. Supino A25.6.0 (this copy). Provenance: discreet bookplate of Conrad bibliographer David J. Supino.
