Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin, 1916. Book. Illus. by frontispiece of face off between polar bear and sled dogs. Good. Hardcover. First American Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Original light blue cloth with most of the white lettering on front and spine worn off. Slight edgewear, but clean and tight. nside, no prior owner marks, tight hinges, and no browning. Lovely descriptions of Labrador just over 100 years ago. .
