London: Constable, 1910. First Edition. . Hardback. Good. First edition, first printing. Hardback bound in the original red cloth with gilt titling and printed design to spine and upper board. Top edge gilt. 19.5 × 13cm, 265pp. A selection of lays, fables and tales from the old French, much to do with chivalry and knights, with some reference to King Arthur and Arthurian mythology. Condition: A fair to good copy. The cloth is a little rippled along the front gutter with one small scuff to the cloth, and is slightly faded to the spine. The contents, however, are in good, clean condition, with secure binding.
