Viii + 371pp plus 6 + 32pp publisher's catalogues. Binding has edge wear & book is a bit cocked, some foxing to front & occasionally elsewhere, generally fair to good condition. Frontispiece by John Gilbert, no other illustrations . Designed to be a gentle introduction to Shakespeare's works, this volume covers both the comedies & tragedies & includes stories from Othello, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, Macbeth, All's Well that Ends Well etc as well as a brief life of Shakspeare & the chronological order of the dramas.
