Sampson Low, Son & Co , London, 1855. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1855. No Edition Remarks. 248 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth with gilt lettering. Loss of front free endpaper. Gilded text block edges. Pages are mildly tanned throughout. Severe cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and binding to be loose. However, boards & pages throughout remain attached. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, sunning & crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering darkened. Minor splits causing fraying to cloth at spine ends.
