London: Francis Westley, 1822. HB. Full leather, 12 mo, 177 pp., edges of text block marbled, marbled endpapers. Disbound, with front and rear covers detached but present, backstrip missing. Scarce work consisting of three short stories, An Evening Walk in the Vicinity of Geneva (1-92), A Visit to the House of Mourning, on the Banks of the Lake of Geneva (93-137), and The New Village Pastor (139-177). Attributed to Ann Yosy by NSTC and OCLC. Text shows minor foxing, frontis illustration. Printed for Francis Westley, 10, Stationer's Court, and Ave-Maria Lane; and L. B. Seeley, 169, Fleet Street. First volume of a 3 volume set with the two subsequent volumes published in 1823. Book condition Fair.
