Green, decorated wrappers, 140 pp., acknowledgments, illustrated from photographs and advertisements, An oral history of the area recalled by over four dozen people going back to the early 1900s. Those interviewed ranged in age from 18 to 97 and they shared numerous priceless stories that the author has recorded.including the tale of the Leopold/Loeb murder known as "The Crime of the Century." Leopold spent considerable time in the Nonesuch-White Pine-Mass area as a nine year-old boy. Light wear to the foot of spine, former owner's inked name to top of inside front cover, else a very good copy.
