About This Item

Viking, New York, 1984. First edition hardcover with dust jacket in very good condition. Stephen King's first collaboration with Peter Straub although he had said previously he would not co-write a book. The Talisman and it's sequel were the only novels King collaborated with another author and both were with Straub. The dust jacket is in a protective Mylar case and is in good condition with no marks, wear or tears. The book is black boards with a red spine with the title, authors and publisher embossed in gold and black. The pages are white with no writing, folds or tears but the title page is embossed with the previous owner's name. The last endpaper has an ink stamp that says "PURCHASED FROM BOOK SALE" and there is some discoloration on the bottom edge. The book in the photos is the book you are purchasing.
