Adam & Charles Black. Decorative Cloth. Very Good+. Re-issued. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall. Dryburgh Edition re-issue, 10 illustrations, very solid and sound and very clean internally with light foxing only to front and rear leaves. Covers are quite clean and bright with only slight or pale markings, slight spotting to rough cut page edges, gilt embossed seals to front and rear are clean and bright as is lettering to spine. Book would be in near fine condition but has a fault, gift certificate to front inside cover has been picked at its centre has been removed but the rest remains. Certificate from the London County Council and rear seal has words around its perimeter which announces this.DFront cover seal looks like a mermaid on a helmet upon a shield. 433pp with indices plus publishers adverts. UK dealer, immediate dispatch . Very Good. Hardback. 1899.
