Illustrated. 220 pp. SIGNED and INSCRIBED, " For Lucille, With fond memories of the days you were a student at W.H.S. Lewell H. Carpenter July 23, 1971. " Also laid in is an article from the Wabash (In) Plain Dealer dated Thursday , July 22, 1971 about the author's history, his Grandfather's history ( the subject of the book) , and the writing of the book.. This copy is VG+ in a VG , unclipped ($5.95) DJ. The copy itself shows no wear, perhaps a touch cocked, to the outside. Inside has only some modest toning from the DJ and the laid in article. Otherwise, unmarked, crisp, and tightly bound. The DJ has a faded stain at the bottom of the spine, modest wear at the bottom, and some more noticeable wear/chipping to the top..
