npl: npub, 1973. Hardcover. 116p., gray cloth boards with titling in black, first edition; frontis., no dust jacket, in very good condition. Chapter topics include the Doukhobors, work with Native Americans, travels in Spain and Cuba, refugee work in Palestine, and more. The author, born in Haviland, Kansas in 1894, attended Pacific College (where he later became president) and Haverford College. Working with the American Friends Service Committee, he investigated government relations with the Doukhobors in British Columbia in the 1950s.
