Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord, 1st Prince de Bénévente, known since the turn of the 19th century simply by the name Talleyrand, was the most skilled French diplomat of his time. He worked under the regime of Louis XVI, through the French Revolution and then under Napoleon I, Louis XVIII, Charles X, and Louis-Philippe. 50. Soft Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
