It is located on Hillsboro Bay, 35 miles from the open sea, the Gulf of Mexico. This splendid harbor affords a sheltered anchorage for vessels coming from almost every country. Ocean liners operating from Tampa, reach important ports in many parts of the world. Numerous smaller steamers afford comfortable transportation to nearby points.
