About This Item
Philadelphia: Peterson, (1882). First American edition.. [17 - 194]pp. + 14pp. ads at rear. Marbled boards, cloth spine, with what looks like a hand-lettered label on the spine, and with the author's name lettered by hand on the spine. Chipping to label, some shelf wear to edges, very good otherwise. An uncommon title by this prolific French novelist. This looks to be a society novel laid in Russia.
