Original deep red cloth with gilt title on the spine and no edge wear or scuffs. /Dust jacket has some wear at the top, and the spine ends, but no tears and is not price clipped ($5.) Inside , very clean and tight with no foxing or stains, and no prior owner marks. A spot of browning on the front endpaper, residual from a newspaper review of the book, which is still enclosed.
