NY: Metropolitan Fiction, Inc. . G. 1929. 1st Edition. Hardcover. First edition bound in orange cloth with black lettering. A Good copy. The front board is soiled. It has a 1" x 1 3/4" spot and the remains of an old ring mark. The spine is faded. The rear board has three fain t damp stains. Former owner's name is inked on the front fly. The numb er 227 is inked at the bottom of the title page's inner gutter. The pa ges are lightly toned but are otherwise unmarked and tightly bound. Fr ontispiece by A.W. Sperry. Decent copy lacking the jacket. .
Synopsis
Tarzan and the Lost Empire is a novel written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, generally considered the twelfth in his series of books about the title character Tarzan (the previous book, Tarzan and the Tarzan Twins, being omitted from the enumeration on the grounds that it was written for younger readers).
