Covers and edges bumped and rubbed. Bottom of covers have one small indent to back and front. tells of the pioneers, bushrangers' escapades, mutinies, shipwrecks, grim stories of convict cannibals, but also of its scenic charms and tourist attractions, fast growing economy, heavy industries and the harnessing of its immense water resources for electric power. It tells also of the satellite islands, the flora and fauna, birds and reptiles, minerals, historical treasures of Australia's smallest but most beautiful state. Illustrated throughout mainly in black and white photos with the addition of a couple of coloured scenes
