Boston: Socialist Party of Massachusetts, [193-]. Four-panel brochure, 6x9 inches, small stain on front wrap else very good, two cartoons. Proposes "A heavy tax on the gains made from gambling on the stock exchange." Cover cartoon shows two effete Suits looking out the window at a gardener working, with the caption "Doesn't it make you sore to see these mere workers getting ten dollars a day when you think how hard poor great grandfather had to work for 'our' money?" Back cover cartoon compares a laborer gambling with dice ("We fine him") to a businessman looking at his stock market returns on the ticker tape ("We should tax him more").
