Frontispiece: Portrait of Tchaikovsky by N. D. Kuznetsov (1893), as well as Several other black and white illustrations. Fold out between pages 336 and 337, a copy of a page from the New York Herald (May 6, 1891) that descibes his appearance at the first festival concert held at the inauguartion of the NYC Music Hall. Bound in dark blue-green cloth with gilt title and decoration stamped to spine and with decoration blind stamped to front. Cover shows light markings, but remains square, the binding solid. The front free endpaper show 3 inscriptoions (small). Internally clean and bright..
