Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A: A. O. Crane, 1884. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 7 1/4" x 8 3/4. FAIR/NO DUST JACKET. Former Library Book. 375 pp. Text with a few pencil markings, and the usual library treatments. Pages lightly toned. Waterstains at top edge of pages 183 ff. Illustrated with engraved drawing in b/w, and portraits of historical figures in b/w throughout the text. Brpwn cloth boards illustrated and lettered in black at front, lettered in gilt at spine. Boards slightly soiled, corners and spine top and tail rubbed. Binding tender, with few pages loose and laid in, but all present.
