About This Item

3,UK,12mo p/back,1st edns.[2 tv tie-in novels and a Plot Your Own story - 'The A-Team: 'DEFENCE AGAINST TERROR'.1985.] VG and NFINE respectively. No owner inscrptns and no price removal from covers; with negligible shelf-wear,bumping,creasing to edges and corners - no nicks or tears present. All books unread with no spine reading creases or dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners - unread, apart from my own collation. All edges inevitably aged/toned,some with minimal blemish.
Based on the UK's,ITV television series 'The A-Team', created by Frank Lupo & Stephen J. Cannell.
No.III - 'WHEN YOU COMIN' BACK,RANGE RIDER?' Adapted from the episode of same title - written by Frank Lupo.
No. IV - 'OLD SCORES TO SETTLE'. Adapted from the episodes 'The Only Church in Town' by Babs Greyhosky, and 'Recipe for 'Heavy Bread' written by Stephen J. Cannell.
'Defence Against Terror' written by William Rotsler.
If you have a problem. If no one else can help. And if you can find them . . .Maybe you can hire . . . The A-Team!
Ten years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. But a maximum security stockade meant nothing to them, and today they're still wanted men - soldiers of fortune on the streets of L.A.
Now the A-Team have been hired by Manuel Frame to rescue his daughter Nola from Costa Verde's president General Camarillo. So follow B.A. Baracus,Hannibal Smith,'Howlin Mad' Murdock and the rest of he team, and join them - if you dare - in their 'DEFENCE AGAINST TERROR.'
Popular action series with a cartoon-strip tendency towards explosive violence with little or no injury to the protagonists (even the baddies).
Many of the show's devotees (14.6 million at its British height) were children who idolised the grunting ('Watch it sucker!'),gold swathed BA,played by actor Mr T (aka Lawrence Tero, born Lawrence Tureaud).
Unsurprisingly the show had been essentially created for MR T,after (US) NBC programme chief Brandon Tartikoff had seen him as Clubber Lang in the movie Rocky III.Complaints about the A-Team's violence quotient eventually caused it to be withdrawn from transmission in Britain.
