He describes the development of scientific and technological teaching up to the present day, and makes a powerful case for the inclusion of technology in a liberal education, making suggestions towards a syllabus for such an education". The author was a noted naturalist and botanist, and was President and Vice-Chancellor of Queen's University of Belfast. Condition: The book is in very good condition, with a little foxing to the page edges. The dustwrapper has tanning to the spine, and a few areas of light spotting foxing and rubbing.
