Inscribed by the author on the FFFP on 29 December 1956, Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition Near Fine; slight tip bumping. DJ: VG+; NOT price clipped; tape repairs to cover at lower front and top of spine; closed tears at top tip covers. Gray cloth boards with red cloth overlay on spine with bright gilt lettering on spine. 399 pp 8vo. This is the story of an Indian who dominated the american frontier prior to the War of 1812 with his vision of a confederations of all the Indian tribes to check the encroachment of whites on the Indian lands. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
