This copy is inscribed by Ralph Steadman on the front endpaper "For Beef from / Ralph Steadman 8 March '96." Bound in slick illustrated boards and issued sans dust jacket. A children's book with a teddybear. Beef Torrey was a well know friend of many writers, especially in the West. Beef wrote several books of interviews with various writers including Hunter S Thompson, Tom Robbins, and was a close friend of Richard Brautigan and Jim Harrison (co-author of the new Jim Harrison bibliography with Gregg Orr).
