In the original publisher's glossy FINE/As NEW pictorial laminated boards, in the identically Illustrated pictorial dustjacket. The dustjacket however has a small tear (3 cm x 2 cm tapering) with loss, in a triangle shape, to the inner foot of the front of the d/j near the spine, and has some reinforcements with clear archival tape on the inside of the d/j. This is hardly noticable, as the d/j replicates exactly the front cover underneath - so the missing portion is not seen unless you look very closely. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks FINE. The dustjacket is not price clipped. FIRST EDITION, 2009. SIGNED "with love Jackie Morris" by the illustrator, to the top of the title page, with an original black line-drawing of the baby dragon hatching out of the egg, by Jackie running the full length of the title page. Unpaginated. Full colour pictorial endpapers. Delightfully illustrated throughout by the Award winning Jackie Morris in full colour.
