CONTENT: This is a gentle, but informative, book for young children dealing with loss of a loved one - the entire sequence of the actual death to the funeral and burial or cremation. I don't see this book as religious nor do I see it as anti-religious, but as the compassionate science of death with a lesson on observing the feelings and beliefs of those who are grieving also. I found it moving, accurate, and comforting in catering to the questions and feelings of a child. Perhaps you will also.
