Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1899. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1899. No Edition Remarks. 258 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front free endpaper. Pencil annotations and marginalia to a few pages. Top textblock edge dyed gilt. Half title page is missing. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Minor tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.
