Signed by Rita Dove, inscribed to former owner and dated December 7, 2017. 20pp. Bound in publisher's unprinted sewn wrappers, housed in illustrated envelope. No. 143 of "approximately 200 copies." Fine in Very Good envelope with some dampstaining and wear along flap.
The first chapbook by the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet (the second African American person to win the award), also a former U.S. Poet Laureate. The fourth volume in the publisher's envelope-housed Mania Series. Especially scarce signed.
