Contains 8 colour illustrated plates and black and 5 full-page black and white illustrations by Florence Harrison. In the 'Beautiful Poems' series. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with moderate foxing. Binding has remained firm. Pencil marks mostly erased from front endpaper. Intense tanning to half title page. Slight imprint of some illustrations on opposite pages. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little peeled. Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Notable water staining to upper and lower areas of both boards. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and pronounced areas of loss. Light tanning to spine and edges. Some water staining. Highly rubbed, foxed and marked overall.
