About This Item
Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 1971. Dj, not price clipped, protected in mylar sleeve, but bearing spine label. Hinges tight. Interior unmarked except for normal library markings: stickers, stamps, card pouch, plus tape used to anchor mylar has left stains on adjacent free endpapers. This book is the story of an early attempt to reduce staff by introducing audio-visual lectures at the university level. The experiment failed as a cost-cutting measure. BONUS (might be interesting): the library card, which the seller will leave in the pouch, is one of the ancient IBM keypunch type. 121 pp + index. First. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
