Octavo (19.25cm.); original brown patterned cloth, gilt spine, yellow glazed endpapers; xxix,[18]-280,[8](ads)pp. (Inconsistency in pagination as usual.) Spine faded to tan with gilt equally dull; small loss to spine crown, extremities a bit rubbed; textblock foxed with occasional soil spots. An About Very Good copy. First published in the French in 1845.
