About This Item
Boston: Little Brown & Company, 1945. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. Stated First Edition. Several tiny stains or marks on the covers. A newspaper article from 1945 is laid in at pages 174-175 causing associated browning of those two pages. The rear endpaper and preceding page also have browning from newspaper having been laid in (no longer present). The Near Fine dust jacket has just a touch of edge wear. Signed "J. Frank Dobie" (name only) on the half-title page. A solid copy of Dobie's reminiscence of his time in England as visiting American lecturer to Cambridge University from 1943-1944, during World War II..
