Clean, tight no names, gilt-stamped olive green cloth with very small spot with loss of color, folding color map in front, 410pp., Appendix (1) Constitution of the Mexican United States (2 )Constitution of the Republic of Texas.
See BASIC 94 -"entirely different from Holley's 1833 volume, this contains a great deal more information on Texas history, geography, and society. Bancroft praised it. Stephen Austin came to Lexington and stayed in her home, giving her advice on her manuscript which included Sam Houston's official report of the Battle of San Jacinto and the first book printing of the Texas Declaration of Independence and other key documents of the revolution.
