Oxford, UK: Clarendon, 1887. Blue boards with gild spine titles and emblem show light shelfwear, moderate corner bumps with slight abrasion of cloth, and light rubbing head and heel of spine. Spine still sound. Endpapers (of a very lightweight paper) have split along gutter but underlying webbing still holds fast. The interior is for the most part unmarked. There is some annotation in pencil in the earliest chapters, on the half-title and on the front free endpaper. 588 pp + 36 pp endmatter (publisher's offerings). Please note that this is the original text and not a print-on-demand (POD) copy.. First. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Textbook.
