New York, N.Y.: John W. Lovell Oxford Edition tan or ochre with black decorations. Front and back hinges are cracked and the front hinge has been repaired. The book is not dated, but the new preface is 1831, and there's a gift inscription on the decorated endpapers dated 1899. Pages are browning and somwhat brittle. The book has wear at the extremities and the tips are bumped and starting to fray with the board exposed at one corner. The bottom of the spine has a tiny tear and light wear.. Reprint. Hard Cover. Fair/No DJ. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
