London: C. W. Beaumont, 1922. HC. very good, tan cloth (hardcover) SEE NOTE. B&W and color illustrations. This is one of 230 numbered copies printed on antique paper. In addition, 120 copies were printed on hand-made paper, autographed by Madame Thamar Karsavina, with all the decorations coloured by hand. An uncommon history of this reknowned ballerina. Illustrations include: color frontis, sepia prints in text, B&W plates of which 9 have been handcolored; and, all followed by camera portraits at the end. Nice clean and tight copy PLEASE NOTE, there is light rubbing on the bottom of the boards, corners show light wear, and there are a few light "chew" marks on lower corner of front board. 149pp.
