Paris: Librairie De Firmin Didot Freres, 1854 With the armorial bookplate of Alexander Stewart Hincks, Lieutenant in the 3rd West India Regiment, who then went on to become Captain of the 76th Hindoostan Regiment, retiring in 1868. [4], Frontispiece, 663pp, [1], bound in three quarter leather and marbled paper, with raised bands on the spine. Covers are rubbed, corner and edge wear, with upper/lower spine loss. Interior shows corner damp mark, with a few signatures sprung.
