VG++/VG. 1st Edition, 1st Printing with "T03/76" code to the copyright page. 13.7 x 21.4 cm blue backed, black paper covered boards with silver titles to the spine and blind stamped publisher's device to the upper board. Black endpapers 256[2]pp. In original unclipped dust jacket with $7.95 price. Clean boards with just a hint of shelf wear and a small bruise to the top corner of the upper board. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate. The dust jacket is a little toned on the spine and edges. With a touch of rubbing and some tiny closed tears along the top edge and larger ones of 1 and 1.2 cm on the rear panel with associated creasing and one of 1 cm on the bottom of the front panel. It is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) and presents well. All in all an excellent 1st Edition copy of the author's 1st novel and winner of the Edgar Allen Poe Award for best first novel.
