Original publisher's glassine wraps have kept this copy of a First Edition Thus autobiography in particularly Fine condition. Sans slipcase. Edited and introduced by Iain Bain, and with 67 reproductions of Bewick's finest wood engravings in black-and-white and 31 more in full color, printed on high-gloss paper. Tall octavo format, tan cloth over boards, black cloth-backed, sharp and distinct gilt lettering to spine. 192 pp. Bewick-specific design on front cover.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
