Salt Lake City, UT: Privately Printed, 1922. 1st edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. VG+. 8vo, [xii]+268pp (plus plates), dark blue board stamped in gold. Nice copy of the privately printed first edition of this classic study of a notorious episode of fringe masonry in the Mormon world. A period leaflet relating to the case, issued by the Grand Lodge of Iowa, is laid in. Unmarked copy, clean with minor wear, hinges starting to crack (but binding is secure).
