London: Eland Books, 1989. A tiny crease to the spine and a bigger one to the front cover, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this soft-cover book. Originally published in hardback in 1948), the book dealing with the experiences of the author, the wife of an official of the British North Borneo Company, who was captured and interned by the Japanese in WW2 Borneo. She survived, along with her husband and young son, hence the title. The 1950 film "Three Came Home" starring Claudette Colbert was based on the book. 295pp, some b&w drawings.. Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
