Born in Northeastern Korea during Japanese occupation, Chung moved with his family to the large industrial center of Harbin until they returned home at the end of W.W.II. at which point he began his training in medicine until his studies were disrupted by the Korean war. He moved south with the army as a refugee and eventually enlisted. A very good copy, in mylar covered dust jacket with small closed tears and significant creases.
