This is a n extensive compilation of recipes dating from the late 1930s where the nutritional values are quite different to the reduced fat an sugar requiremetns of today. (The Apple Pie recipe calls for 1 cup of suggar for an 8-inch pie). There are usually three to four recipes per page and are presented in a succint style as the book assumes more cookery knowledge than modern cookbooks do.
