The cover shows a detail from a lithograph by Edvard Munch, "The Death Chamber" (1896) Pages completely clean, no markings of any kind. Three plays by the most outstanding playwright in Swedish literature, August Strindberg (1949-1912). This is a selection of his three best-known plays: The Father and Miss Julia are from his Realistic Period which challenged the traditions of the day, and Easter, which came thirteen years later, the most optimistic of the three.
