New York and London: Funk and Wagnalls Company. Good with no dust jacket. 1941. Reprint. Hardcover. In Blue boards with bright silver-gilt titling to the spine and front board which also has an illustration of a silver plane printed in an impressed 'cloud'. NO dustjacket. Ex RAF Area Education Scheme Central Library Uxbridge/ RAF Station Reference book Oak? ? Ton. NO lib numbers on the spine, but has the usual stamps marks, etc, to the first few pages up to and including the Title page and one stamp on the rear board, but NO other library marks in the book that I can see. The board edges are rubbed and the head/tail of the spine and the corners slightly discoloured/bumped, but overall the boards are solid and all hinges are tight. 356pp. Black/white frontispiece. Numerous black and white illustrations/maps/charts/diagrams. Some light staining to page edges of the first few and last few pages. The Main body of book is Unmarked and CLEAN, BRIGHT and TIGHT- with a VG 'period' cover. "A guide for instrument flying in the early years of aviation - and more... ". ; Ex-Library; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
